Japanese beauty brand rihka opens our first ever pop up store outside of Japan at Fujin Tree 355 in Taiwan, from May 18th to May 26th!

You can explore all of rihka’s must-haves as well as new products first-hand, from our best seller “cat inspired” nail polishes to effortlessly chic lipsticks that will for sure become an essential part of your everyday makeup routine.

rihka is a Japanese makeup brand created by Mirai Matsuda, a hair and makeup artist based in Japan.

First launched in June 2020 with the concept of “Empowering everyone and anyone by bringing ease and a sense of calmness through the power of makeup”, the brand started with 11 neutral color nail polishes and later expanded to other categories such as eyeshadow and lipstick while keeping the same signature neutral tones.

The neutral colors are inspired by everyday life- madeleine, an orange-brown nail polish is inspired by the fur color of the director’s beloved cat, Madeleine.
Also, our best seller “coussinet”, which literally means “cushion” in French, is inspired by the soft paw of Madeleine.
Other colors are inspired by flowers, food, and feelings found in everyday life.

At the moment, the products are available on the official website as well as at pop up stores held all over Japan.
We have been fortunate to welcome many visitors from outside of Japan at the pop up stores in the past year, which led to the decision of holding a pop up store in Asia, starting from Taiwan with the generous help of Fujin Tree 355.

Mirai Matsuda is a Tokyo based hair and makeup artist.
Her work can be seen in various lifestyle and fashion magazines and advertising in Japan.
She is also known for her lifestyle, fashion and everyday life with her roommate- an 11 years old cat named Madeleine, who has been a big source of inspiration for rihka’s product development.
